Ferry Schedules
The Cumberland Sound Ferry Service travels between the Fernandina Harbor Marina, 1 N. Front St., and the Pavilion Dock at the foot of Osborne Street in St. Marys, Ga. The crossing takes approximately one hour. Tickets are $15 round-trip (children 3 and under free), there is limited space for bicycles as well. You can make reservations by calling (877) 264-9972, (904) 261-9972 or visit www.ameliarivercruises.com. Make sure to let them know if you plan to bringing a bicycle to ensure space available.

~ CUMBERLAND ISLAND NATIONAL SEASHORE ~
Cumberland Island is located 7 miles east of St. Marys, Georgia, and is only accessible by water. Ferry Fees - $17 Adult, $12 for 12 and under, $15 Senior [65 and over]. Entrance Fees - $4 per visit. No entrance fees will be collected from individuals under the age of 16 years old. The ferry does not transport pets, bicycles, kayaks, or cars. For information and ferry reservations (912) 882-4336 Ext. 254 - Directions: Follow Hwy 40 East off Interstate 95 to St. Marys. The visitor center and ferry dock are located at the waterfront. Reservations are required for ferry.
IMPORTANT NOTE: There are no concessions available on the island, anything that you might require or desire during your stay must be brought with you.
Preserved and protected, Cumberland Island National Seashore includes designated wilderness areas, undeveloped beaches, historic sites, cultural ruins, critical habitat and nesting areas, as well as numerous plant and animal communities. Interpretive and educational programs are available and you may hear compelling stories of the many people who have shaped and been shaped by Cumberland Island. No ferry on Tuesdays or Wednesdays
No 2:45 PM departure from the island
However, the two departure times from St. Marys and Cumberland Island remain the same.
